MgO SIP
system One of the world's
most advanced
solutions
SIP (Structural Insulated Panel) technology delivers outstanding energy efficiency, structural stability and long service life. The MgO SIP system we use combines passive-house energy performance with the safety and durability of modern building materials.
The result: a structure that keeps warmth in during winter, stays cool in summer, and resists fire, moisture and mould — for generations.
How is a SIP
panel built?
Outer and inner MgO boards
Highly resistant magnesium-oxide boards on both sides of the structure — non-combustible, mould-resistant cladding.
Graphite EPS core
The centre of the panel is high-density graphite EPS insulation for maximum energy efficiency.
Structural frame
The system features a high load-bearing structural configuration that ensures the building's stability.
Why is
graphite EPS better?
Graphite EPS has a thermal conductivity nearly 20% better than conventional white EPS. For the same thickness it retains heat more effectively in winter and heats up more slowly in summer.
The structure of polystyrene beads is almost 98% air — and air is one of the best natural thermal insulators.
One of the
safest systems
The MgO cladding holds an A1 fire rating — the highest category. The system withstands open flames of up to 1300 °C for several hours.
Not a plastic
bag house
Many mistakenly assume SIP houses don't breathe. In reality, graphite EPS vapour-diffusion properties are close to those of timber — allowing the structure to manage moisture in a controlled way.
Airtightness is provided by specialised air-sealing tapes, which are a prerequisite for passive-house certification.
Resists mould and rot
MgO boards are fully resistant to all biological damage agents — the key to a long service life and a healthy living environment.
Can it hold
kitchen units?
Yes — that is one of the most common questions. SIP panels are extremely high-capacity structural elements. Load tests placed a total of 600 kg on two cantilevers, with a structural deflection of only ~0.5 mm.
Passive-house-level performance
The system meets modern passive-house requirements — the world's strictest energy-efficiency standards.
What people often ask
The system is designed for several decades; certified systems come with a structural warranty of up to 50 years.
Yes. Thanks to pre-fabricated elements, construction time can be significantly shorter compared to traditional methods.
Yes. MgO technology features outstanding fire protection, structural and moisture-resistance properties.
Of course. We design our houses from the outset so that the most modern smart-home systems can be integrated.
